Cranford Planning Board appoints Colliers to study 24 South Avenue West

The motion passed on roll call with affirmative votes from Nordelo, Ms. Pedde, Commissioner Black, Mr. Callahan, Mr. Jandoli, Mayor Miller Prunty, Mr. Leber and Mr. Dunn and no opposition.
The Board said the Township Committee’s Resolution 2026‑191 requested the Board undertake a preliminary study of the parcel and produce a report. Two firms submitted proposals; both quoted similar fees, but Colliers was selected in part because it offered a shorter timeframe for delivering the study. Board members did not discuss substantive findings at the meeting; the vote authorizes the firm to begin the work and prepare its report for the Board’s review.
The Board’s action was procedural: Colliers will prepare the preliminary study and present findings at a future meeting, after which the Board may schedule hearings or take further steps depending on the firm’s recommendations.
