Woodburn school board adopts agenda, moves into executive session

"It is now 05:47, 05:48, and I will now call this meeting to order," the chair said, opening the session. A board member moved to adopt the agenda "as presented," and another board member seconded the motion. The chair called the vote; ayes were called and the chair reported a 5-0 result, approving the agenda.
The chair announced the board would move into a closed executive session "pursuant to ORS 192.6602 F to consider information or records that are exempt by law from public inspection." The statement indicated the board planned to meet outside the public stream to discuss matters allowed under the cited statute.
For the record, a board member said, "we're gonna move from this streaming, off, and then we will resume the open meeting probably around, 06:50 or so for anyone watching via Zoom or YouTube." The public stream was paused and the board proceeded into executive session as stated.
No further deliberations, public comments or votes were recorded in the public portion of the transcript before the executive session began. The open meeting was scheduled to resume later that evening at about 6:50 p.m.
