Resolutions included payment of bills (Resolution #25-066); authorization to apply for 2025 Community Development Block Grant funding (Resolution #25-067); appointment of Phoenix Advisors, LLC to provide financial advisory services (Resolution #25-068); a hold harmless agreement for snow removal (Resolution #25-069); adjustments to utility bills for Block 26 Lot 4 and Block 51 Lot 5 (Resolutions #25-070 and #25-071); authorization of First Aid Squad memberships for Aidan James and Theresa Davis (Resolutions #25-072 and #25-073); approval of raffle licenses for Just Believe, Inc. (Resolution #25-074); and authorization of membership in the Lakehurst Fire Department for Justin K. Abrahamsen (Resolution #25-075). The minutes also record the resignation of Police Officer Christian Hernandez, effective Feb. 16, 2025.
The consent agenda was approved by the council. The minutes record an abstention by Council President Oglesby on the two First Aid Squad membership items (items #7 and #8 in the resolution list). No further discussion or motion amendments are recorded in the minutes.
Clerks will process the personnel changes, membership paperwork and financial-authority contract in accordance with borough procedures.
