The Elk Township Planning & Zoning Board handled routine business July 10, approving the June 19 minutes and memorializing a major‑subdivision resolution for property at 7th and Douglas Street.
The board adopted Resolution 2024‑10 granting a Major Subdivision to Cherena Cheng (Block 143, Lot 1, Application PB‑24‑01). Mr. Wolf moved to adopt the resolution, seconded by Mr. Lucas; the record shows two members abstained because they were not present at the prior hearing.
The board also considered and approved a Minor Subdivision application from Stephen Considine (111 Railroad Ave, SD‑24‑02). Township Engineer Steve Bach told the board the application was complete and consistent with the July 3 review letter; with no public comment the Board voted 9‑0 to grant the subdivision subject to the conditions listed in the review letter.
There was no Old Business or correspondence reported, the Board briefly opened and closed the general public portion without additional speakers, and Mr. Goetsch moved to adjourn. The meeting ended at 8:54 p.m.
