The Moultonborough Zoning Board of Adjustment on Feb. 4 approved a corrected Notice of Decision granting an equitable waiver for property at 50 Iroquois Lane, owned by Jessica Savage and Kristian Talvitie.
During review of the draft Notice of Decision, Mr. David McDonough identified a series of corrections to improve clarity and accuracy, including striking the phrase "of Miracle Farms" and the word "applicant" in one paragraph, replacing "odd" in another, revising a line to read "The cost to remove it is unreasonable," changing "apparent" to "alleged" in paragraph 9C, correcting the approval date to Feb. 4, 2026, removing a placeholder date for the next meeting, and adding the names of voting board members consistent with historical practice. Mr. McDonough presented these corrections as edits to the document.
MOTION: Mr. DeMeo moved to approve the Notice of Decision for Jessica Savage and Kristian Talvitie, Tax Map 193, Lot 21, 50 Iroquois Lane, for an Equitable Waiver of Dimensional Requirements, as amended per the corrections discussed. Mr. McDonough seconded. VOTE: The motion carried with four in favor (Stephens, McDonough, DeMeo, Merrill); Mr. Sperry abstained because he had attended the Dec. 3, 2025 hearing but had not been seated as a voting member at that time.
The board’s approval updated the official record to reflect the corrected language and the names of the members who voted on the December 3, 2025 decision. No additional substantive changes to the equitable waiver itself were recorded at the Feb. 4 meeting.
