Wildwood Crest commissioners adopt several ordinances and routine resolutions; board signs on to ARRIVE program

The borough also introduced Ordinance 14-78 (amendments to Chapter 79, Vehicles and Traffic, to prohibit parking certain large vehicles on borough streets) and scheduled its second reading and public hearing for Feb. 18, 2026 at 5 p.m.
During the resolutions portion of the agenda, commissioners adopted multiple routine items by roll call, including: advertisement of bid notices for an exhaust-fan installation at the Joseph Von Savage Memorial Pool and for vending-machine supply and servicing; a tax-exemption resolution for the property at 201 West Pittsburgh Avenue for 2025–2026; cancellation of erroneous sewer rents for a specified property and issuance of a refund; adoption of 2026 sewer rates and minimum charges; appointment of James Craft as the qualified purchasing agent pursuant to NJSA 40A:11-9; and authorization to advertise or award public-works contracts and work orders (including engineering work orders, Bayview Drive reconstruction, and a pool maintenance contract procured through a cooperative purchasing program).
The meeting record shows unanimous roll-call approval (each vote recorded as "Yes") for the motions that were put before the governing body during the session.
What happens next: Ordinance 14-78 will return for a public hearing and final vote on Feb. 18, 2026. The borough will post adopted resolutions and supporting documents on its municipal website as they are finalized.
