St. Clair County commissioners recognize 4‑H students for state and national poultry competitions

At the start of the work session the commission invited extension service staff and 4‑H leaders to present local youth accomplishments. Elena highlighted that students also attended an international poultry industry conference and have ongoing research collaborations with Auburn's poultry science department, including work set to be presented in Toronto this summer. Commissioners thanked the students and extension staff, posed for photos and encouraged continued county support for the extension and 4‑H programming as workforce development for agriculture‑related industries.
