Woodland Park, N.J. — The Woodland Park Board of Education reorganized at a public meeting on Jan. 3, 2022, administering oaths to newly elected commissioners and electing its 2022 leadership.
Mayor Keith Kazmark administered the oath of office to newly elected commissioners Adam Chaabane, Shannon Marren and MaryAnn Perro. After roll call confirmed eight members present, the board held nominations for officers.
Motion by Laura Vargas, seconded by MaryAnn Perro, nominated Christine Tiseo for president of the Woodland Park Board of Education. The motion passed on a roll-call vote: 8 yes, 0 no.
Motion by David Amanullah, seconded by Jairo Rodriguez, nominated Joseph Giammarella for vice president of the Woodland Park Board of Education. That motion also passed on a roll-call vote: 8 yes, 0 no.
The meeting record lists Members Present as Joseph Giammarella, Shannon Marren, Christine Tiseo, Laura Vargas, MaryAnn Perro, Jairo Rodriguez, Adam Chaabane and David Amanullah; Glen Grimes was absent. The meeting adjourned at 7:40 p.m.
