Miles Vogel presented the request on behalf of Atlanta Film Animals for a special-use permit to operate outdoor animal kennels on a parcel off Hall Road. Vogel said the business has operated in the area since about 2017 and that operations are in a remote portion of the property; planning staff and the planning commission recommended conditional approval.
Councilman JC Sebastian asked about the length of time the business has been at the site; representatives confirmed operations at the location since approximately 2018. No opposition cards were received and the mayor said the council would take a vote on March 24.
The presentation did not produce a vote tonight; the item will return for council action.
