Commissioner Logan told the board he had asked whether he could assume transit liaison duties from a colleague (referred to as "Mark") to lighten that person's workload.
"I talked to him, and asked if he'd be okay if I took transit from him ... so kind of lighten his load a little bit," Commissioner Logan said. He noted transit is one of his colleague's less‑preferred topics and said the transfer was voluntary.
Logan suggested using an existing Thursday morning meeting for transit items if the liaison and stakeholders are available; he said evenings could be used when necessary. The board did not take a formal vote at the status meeting and no formal reassignment was recorded; staff and commissioners indicated they would coordinate outside the noticed status meeting.
