Kendra Mitchell presented an update on the city's wayfinding sign project, saying production for 18 non‑highway signs is estimated at eight weeks and installation at about 8–12 weeks after delivery. She said staff prioritized signs not requiring state Department of Transportation permits and will replace existing signs or mount new signs on existing posts using bands where possible.
Council asked about color choices; Mitchell said highway‑eligible signs were limited to green under highway standards and that the design team debated alternate colors. She said Hank and his crew would handle installation and that staff had checked inventory and ordered signs for the back half of the council packet.
Mitchell asked whether there were questions; council members thanked her and no formal vote was required for the update.
