City set aside $250,000 for Fort Atkinson repair program; Plan Commission to review guidelines

Chair said the planning commission will receive program guidelines in the next packet and will provide oversight and celebrate wins while Habitat handles technical implementation. The city is also pursuing a match from the community foundation to raise the program to about $500,000 with the goal of launching in summer.
"Our goal would be to, starting this summer, have $500,000 in that critical repair program," the chair told commissioners, and added the plan commission would receive reports on the program.
Next steps: staff will include guidelines in the commission's next packet and report back on matching funds and implementation timelines.
