At its March 19 meeting the Dover City Council approved a contractor quote to bring electrical service to a city park and recorded a series of procedural actions, including agenda approval and adjournment.
Member Jamie Putzier moved to approve a Rahman Electric quote to install power to the park; Member Chelsie Kiekbusch seconded, and the minutes state the motion carried. The record does not include a dollar amount for the Rahman Electric quote or a roll-call tally.
Earlier in the meeting Member Jodi Nicklay moved and Member Chelsie Kiekbusch seconded to approve the meeting agenda (minutes record the motion but do not include an explicit outcome line). The clerk was assigned to contact the county about surveying a resident’s property in town. The minutes also note that Dover Eyota Youth Baseball is donating a batting cage to the ballfields.
Member Jamie Putzier later moved and Member Chelsie Kiekbusch seconded a motion to adjourn; the meeting ended at 7:41 PM and the minutes record the motion as carried. The minutes were prepared by Melanie McGrath, Clerk/Treasurer.
The minutes do not record vote tallies or dollar figures for the approved contractor quote; council follow-up or a future meeting will likely provide those details.
