Dover plans 4th of July with DJ, food vendors and raffle; council OKs prize budget

A sponsor was secured to cover pedal-pull trophies. The clerk will reach out to Linda Ed to finalize a fireworks contract.
Rather than charging admission for bingo, the council voted to hold a fire-department raffle with tickets priced at $10 each. Members Putzier and Kiekbusch will coordinate prizes; the council approved spending up to $2,200 for 10 adult and 10 children's prizes.
The motions to hold the raffle and to authorize the prize budget were recorded as carried in the minutes.
