Council members asked Strickland to return with more detailed pricing for purchasing two units — one to station at City Hall and another for the Fire Department — and with information about service and replacement schedules. The minutes record the council asked Strickland to provide follow-up details; no formal purchase motion was reported that evening.
Because pads expire on a five-year schedule and service agreements can cover maintenance and readiness, the clerk and council will use the vendor's additional information to decide whether to lease or buy at a future meeting.
