The Dover City Council on Sept. 4, 2025 approved a series of routine items, including awarding a $36,747 contract for ball-field fencing, authorizing replacement gym pads at $2,122.13 and approving a $500 donation to SEMCAC, according to council minutes.
Member Chelsie Kiekbusch moved to approve the low bid from Sutherland Fence for $36,747; Member Jodi Nicklay seconded and the motion carried. Member Jamie Putzier moved and Member Chelsie Kiekbusch seconded approval of Whitewater Canvas's $2,122.13 quote to replace gym pads; that motion carried. Member Jodi Nicklay moved and Member Eric Tyler seconded the purchase of an additional speed sign; the motion carried.
Minutes record a motion by Member Kiekbusch and a second from Member Putzier to donate $500 to SEMCAC; the motion carried. Other routine approvals included paying bills and accepting the financial statements and approving the prior month's minutes, each adopted by motion and recorded as carried.
