Bedminster Land Use Board elects 2026 officers, approves routine resolutions and meeting schedule

At its Jan. 8 meeting the Bedminster Township Land Use Board elected Carol Gutshall as chair and Jeffrey Leonard as vice chair, approved professionals and meeting dates for 2026, and adopted its annual report and related resolutions.
The Bedminster Township Land Use Board used its Jan. 8 meeting to elect officers and to approve a set of routine resolutions and the calendar for the coming months.
During the opening portion of the meeting a member nominated Carol Gutshall as chair for 2026; the nomination was seconded and approved by roll-call vote. Jeffrey Leonard was nominated and elected vice chair in a subsequent vote. The board confirmed it has a full membership roster for the year.
The board then moved through several standard resolutions: appointing professionals for 2026 (Resolution 2026-001), adopting the meeting dates for the year (Resolution 2026-002), naming a board secretary (Resolution 2026-003) and approving the annual report (Resolution 2026-004). Each resolution passed by motion and recorded roll-call votes.
Board members also approved the Dec. 4 minutes and the separate closed-session minutes. No members of the public spoke during the public-comment portions of the meeting. The board closed the meeting after confirming the next scheduled hearings (Feb. 5, Feb. 12 and March 5) and adjourned.
