Fair Haven council approves ordinance creating deputy tax collector; adopts fee-schedule amendments

At its Feb. 11 meeting, the Fair Haven Borough Council adopted an ordinance to create the position of deputy municipal tax collector and approved amendments to local fee schedules.
Ordinance 2026-01 (creating the position of deputy municipal tax collector) was opened for public comment, saw no spoken public opposition, and passed on a recorded roll-call vote.
The council also considered amendments labeled 20 26-02 (fee rate schedules for special-duty police assignments) and 20 26-03 (amendments to the municipal fee schedule).
