Missouri Valley council adopts FY25/26 budget amendment

Mayor Roger Marshall opened a public hearing at 6:02 p.m. on May 5 to consider amendments to the City of Missouri Valley’s FY26/27 budget and closed the hearing at 6:06 p.m. after council discussion; no written objections were filed.
On a motion by Council Member Tuttle, seconded by Council Member Struble, the council then approved Resolution 26-16 amending the current budget for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2026. The roll call vote was Tuttle, Keizer, Struble, Meadows and Gilpin — all ayes. The resolution notes the amendment was considered after notice published April 29 and describes changes by fund type and activity.
The resolution was passed and approved May 5, 2026. The resolution text included in the meeting packet states that pending applications or permits will be reviewed under the regulations in effect when a complete application was submitted, and that the amendment is effective after final passage, approval and publication as provided by law.
