Brimfield Township trustees approve agenda, accept department inventories and reschedule meeting

The Brimfield Township Board of Trustees met in an inventory session at Brimfield Townhall on Monday, Jan. 13, 2025. Trustee Mike Kostensky called the meeting to order at 8:00 AM; Trustee Sue Fields was present. Trustee Nicholas Coia and Fiscal Officer John Dalziel were recorded as absent.
Trustee Mike Kostensky moved to approve the agenda as presented; Trustee Sue Fields seconded. The motion (MOTION #2025-048) passed on a roll-call vote with Kostensky and Fields voting yea and Trustee Nicholas Coia absent.
Trustees then voted to cancel the regular meeting set for Wednesday, Jan. 22, 2025, and reschedule it to Friday, Jan. 24, 2025, at 8:00 AM (MOTION #2025-049). The motion was seconded by Fields and passed with the same roll-call outcome.
The board unanimously (of those present) accepted inventories for review from four sources: Administration (MOTION #2025-050), the Police Department (MOTION #2025-051), the Fire Department (MOTION #2025-052) and the Road Department (MOTION #2025-053). Each motion was made by Trustee Mike Kostensky, seconded by Trustee Sue Fields, and recorded as passed with two yeas and one absence.
With no further business, Trustee Kostensky moved to adjourn at 8:05 AM; Trustee Fields seconded and the motion carried. The minutes include a signed statement by the trustees certifying the record as true and accurate.
The next scheduled meeting of the Brimfield Township Board of Trustees is the rescheduled regular meeting on Friday, Jan. 24, 2025, at 8:00 AM.
