HOBART — The Hobart City Redevelopment Authority voted Tuesday to grant a six‑month extension to the petitioner for Bickley Hollow (Petition 23‑12), a proposed 67‑lot subdivision, after the petitioner reported recent progress and financing steps.
The petitioner described resurgent presales and said the company had paid about $156,000 to Baker Tilly as part of the development process. He also said the developer will now purchase the property outright rather than rely on a prior deed arrangement.
Commissioner Marco Rodriguez recommended a one‑year extension because of coordination needed with planning and the city council, but a motion to grant six months prevailed. The board indicated the extension will allow the petitioner to return with updated engineering, financing and scheduling information.
The extension was approved by voice vote; no opposition was recorded. The petitioner thanked the board and said he planned to return in six months with a progress report.
