Rumson-Fair Haven board approves May bill list, accepts booster-club donations and ratifies coaches and club advisors

The Rumson-Fair Haven Regional High School Board on May 23 approved finance and extracurricular items including the bill lists dated May 23, 2022 and several coaching and advisor appointments for the 2022–23 school year.
Finance entries presented to the board listed General Fund expenditures of $193,339.62, Special Services Fund $2,880.00 and Capital Projects Fund $141,822.29, for a bill-list total of $338,041.91. Payroll for the period was recorded as $547,379.48, and the minutes list total expenditures of $885,421.39. The board also received the Board Secretary’s and Board certifications regarding April fund status and a Panda LLC cash reconciliation report for April 2022; the minutes cite compliance with N.J.A.C. 6A:23A-16.10 and N.J.S.A. 18:22.8.
On finance, the minutes record that a motion by Mrs. Pattwell seconded by Mr. Page approved Finance agenda items 15–24 by unanimous roll call of those present. Among the finance approvals, the board accepted donations from the RFH Booster Club: $12,600 for a new discus cage for track & field and $3,118.13 for a recovery table.
The board also approved a comprehensive list of coaches, assistants and volunteer coaches for fall and seasonal sports and ratified extra-curricular advisors for clubs and activities across stipended groups. Many stipends were approved at the 2021–22 step and rate pending completion of contract negotiations; several appointments were noted as pending required paperwork. These staffing and stipend approvals were included in the personnel motion made by Mr. Kenney and seconded by Mr. Page and were approved by roll-call vote of board members present.
The meeting record shows the board then moved to executive session and later adjourned.
