Montclair State trustees approve six new degree and certificate programs

Trustees also approved a Graduate Certificate in Artificial Intelligence Systems (effective Spring 2026) and an online Graduate Certificate in Healthcare Analytics (effective Fall 2026). Two new doctoral programs were approved: an online Doctor of Education in Organizational and Interdisciplinary Leadership and a Doctor of Psychology in School Psychology, both effective Fall 2026.
The approvals were moved by Trustee Modia Butler on behalf of the Student Success Committee and were seconded and approved unanimously. The minutes list each program and its effective term; full program proposals and curricular details are in the committee materials and minutes.
