Council members agreed staff should prepare the authorization resolution for the next meeting.
The Police Committee recommended appointing Zachery Myretetus as a probationary police officer. Administrator Mortimer also recommended hiring N’dela Costley as part‑time Planning Board Secretary, Jerry Eger as part‑time Construction Official and Pedro Pons as part‑time Electrical Inspector; the council approved those recommendations and asked that the appropriate appointing resolutions be prepared.
Council did not record public comment on these staffing or equipment items. The approvals at the work session were directional; formal action will occur when resolutions are introduced and voted on at the next meeting.
