"She started the Art Vault, over a year ago. She's very, very active in the merchant community," Dave Hochul said of Victoria Abadir when introducing her nomination.
Community planning and public-works committee items moved to full council included administrative resolution 68-20-26 to amend the official sewage facilities plan to include the 201 West King Street project, and Public Works resolutions: - Resolution 67 recognizing Parks and Recreation Month in July. - Resolution 69 authorizing a projection easement with the Hamilton Club to allow an ADA-access ramp that encroaches 3.75 feet into the right-of-way while maintaining at least five feet of pedestrian access; staff said modifications to nearby tree wells will be coordinated with the urban forester. - Resolution 70 authorizing a grant application to the Commonwealth Financing Authority (multimodal program) for the eastbound connector; staff said they anticipate requesting up to $500,000 and that the grant requires a 30% local match (approximately $180,000), with an application due July 30.
Each item was moved by the relevant committee and seconded; the committees carried the motions to forward the items for full-council consideration on July 14.
