Mountainside earns 'Healthy Town' designation; DPW receives state safety award

Council members also reported that the Department of Public Works received a gold Safety Award for 2024 and that the award includes a $1,325 payment to the borough. Council members congratulated the DPW and noted it is the second consecutive year the borough received the award.
Announcements included a PSA-1 meeting for seniors on March 20 at Borough Hall, a presentation on March 25 hosted by Evan Weiner, and a Mountainside Rotary comedy night on March 29. The mayor encouraged residents to consult the borough website for event details.
