Mountain Lakes Board honors educators of the year across four schools

The Mountain Lakes Board of Education used part of its Jan. 12 meeting to recognize educators of the year and educational services professionals across the district. The superintendent and board members formally announced honorees from Lake Drive, Mount Lakes High School, Briarcliff and Wildwood.
Named honorees included Anthony Carangelo and Lorraine DeGrupp (Lake Drive), Sarah Gillespie and Debbie Golsey (Mount Lakes High School), Michelle Major and Ava Winton (Briarcliff) and Francesca Roselli and Allison Murphy (Wildwood). Trustees and the superintendent praised the honorees' dedication and invited brief comments of thanks; the board then recessed briefly for light refreshments.
Board members described the recognition as part of School Board Appreciation Month and took a moment to thank staff and families for their work supporting students.
