Bunker Hill Village approves on-call contracts for disaster debris removal and monitoring

For disaster debris management and monitoring services, the RFP process produced one qualified bid from TLC Engineering. Staff and the City Engineer recommended awarding that contract to TLC Engineering to provide debris monitoring consistent with FEMA rules and maximize potential reimbursement. Councilmember Andrew Poor moved and Councilmember Hunter Cameron seconded approval; the motion carried 5-0.
Staff did not request operating funds at the time of contract approval because services would be provided and billed only in the event of an extreme disaster; typical reimbursement would be pursued through federal programs such as FEMA.
