Aaron Smith reported he is moving forward with compiling the township tree-inventory data; Secretary Tracy Taylor will forward the tree data she has to Aaron to support that effort. The commission also discussed Arbor Day on April 24, 2026, including potential locations, advertising methods and seeking a nursery or garden center to donate a tree.
The commission noted NJUCF Core Training dates on Oct. 22 and Oct. 23, 2026 for interested members. Treasurer Ethan Taylor reported the Shade Tree account balance is $3,661.03. The commission recorded that township committee members still need to approve secretary pay; no committee decision occurred at this meeting.
No members of the public were present during the meeting. The commission adjourned at 8:00 p.m.
