Director of Operations David Crist told the Commissioners that street paving is scheduled for late May or early June but costs have increased because of fuel prices. He said the town is awaiting updates from the state on a sewer line replacement grant and is gathering quotes for DPW vehicle lettering.
Crist also raised farm lease matters and discussed the Lister Estates grinder pump service contract. He said he wants a plan to address houses that transferred from the original service agreement; the Commissioners tabled that matter for the June meeting to allow staff time to prepare a recommended approach.
The board did not take formal action on the sewer grant or grinder pump contract at this meeting; these items remain under staff follow-up and will return to the agenda for the June meeting.
