At its Aug. 28 meeting, the Queenstown Commissioners took several personnel and governance actions: they reappointed Planning Commission member Mike Bowell, appointed Kevin Brooks as the alternate member of the Board of Appeals, approved Aug. 14 regular and closed-session minutes, accepted the treasurer’s fund balances, and adopted a conflict‑of‑interest policy by resolution.
Commissioner Callahan moved to reappoint Mike Bowell to the Planning Commission; President Hardee seconded and the motion passed 2–0. Callahan also moved to appoint Kevin Brooks as the alternate on the Board of Appeals; Hardee seconded and the motion passed 2–0. The board approved the Aug. 14, 2024 regular meeting minutes and the Aug. 14 closed-session minutes on Callahan motions, seconded by Hardee, each by 2–0 votes.
President Hardee moved to adopt Resolution 21-103, a conflict‑of‑interest policy for the commissioners; Callahan seconded and the resolution passed 2–0. The town clerk reported fund balances: General Fund $81,278.76; WS Fund $148,833.03; ARPA Fund $611,497.30.
With business concluded and no public comment recorded, Callahan moved to adjourn and Hardee seconded; the meeting adjourned by unanimous vote.
