Queenstown commissioners voted to accept a bid and authorize execution of a contract for an inflow-and-infiltration (I&I) infrastructure project at their Oct. 23, 2024 meeting. Commissioner Bryon Callahan moved to authorize President Hardee to sign the contract; Commissioner Tom Willis seconded, and the motion passed 2–0 among the commissioners present.
Town Attorney Carly Landolfi provided the contract and told the board it was ready for acceptance. The authorization allows President Hardee to sign the document on behalf of the town once administrative steps are completed. No amendments to the contract were recorded in the meeting minutes.
The I&I project was discussed under old business; town staff did not provide a timetable or contract amount during the meeting. The board recorded the action as a formal motion and vote rather than directing further study or amendments.
Next steps noted by staff are execution of the contract and the administrative follow-up necessary for start of work. Commissioners did not record any dissenting votes among those present.
