Lee seeks new funds for nuclear energy fund, backs Clinch River SMR development

Lee also said the proposed budget would include $50,000,000 to demonstrate state commitment to development of the Clinch River site for a small modular reactor. He cited a recent TVA application for an $800,000,000 federal grant tied to the project and framed the initiative as positioning Tennessee to host a first-of-its-kind deployment.
