Beach Bluff Duck Days set for July 25 with parade, contests and family activities

Beach Bluff Recreation Center staff described a full day of family programming on July 25 during a broadcast preview.
Lisa Lovett (Beach Bluff Recreation) said vendors will begin setting up at 9 a.m. and that activities run from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m., with events scheduled roughly every hour.
“We’ll have a list of events—wrestling at 11, a parade at noon and a watermelon contest at 3,” Lovett said. She added that the center will use both indoor and outdoor facilities and that there are activities for children including a Power Wheels run around the walking trail.
Organizers highlighted a two‑hour free wrestling show produced by PKW; bell time is 11 a.m. and the show will end before the parade at 1 p.m. PKW representatives said attendees can watch for free if they collect a wristband. Connor Cage, a local wrestler, said he expects to defend his Cruiserweight title if challenged.
The event will include nostalgia‑themed activities such as a cake walk, a dance registration, and family entertainment intended to engage all ages. Organizers encouraged the community to attend and to follow the Beach Bluff Recreation Facebook page and Madison County Parks & Rec for updates.
