Josh Wilber, representing Buildco, addressed the Ava Board of Aldermen during the public-address portion of the April 14 meeting to present proposed documents concerning a city waterline easement and a proposed reconfiguration of lot lines.
Wilber said he provided three copies of the waterline-easement document and described a plan to separate the existing building from adjacent commercial land, enabling development of another apartment complex under a new limited liability company. He told the board the easement will need to be approved by ordinance and recorded with city records.
The minutes record Wilber’s presentation but do not record council action or a vote on the easement, nor do they include the easement language or the proposed lot configuration. Council members did not record objections in the minutes. Any formal city action (ordinance, plat approval or recording) would require subsequent agenda placement and a recorded vote.
