Lauderdale County Commission approves resolution to consider C-PACER, passes budget amendments and rezoning

Under other business, Commissioner Rob Harris raised concerns about unmaintained vacant properties in the county. Mayor Maurice Gaines recommended discussing that issue at the September commission meeting; the commission voted to add the item to the September 2025 agenda.
The commission approved a slate of notary publics for terms prescribed by law and adjourned at 6:31 p.m.
