Metts said she has documentation of her appointment and training and that the certificate shows her term runs through 2026. She cited South Carolina Code 6-29-350 when asking the council for a copy of the removal notice and for clarification of the process. "I have not received anything from the Town of Atlantic Beach, even though I did what I was supposed to do," Metts told the council.
