The River Ridge Community Development District took several formal actions at its Nov. 19, 2024 meeting. Below are the motions recorded in the minutes and their outcomes.
1) Resolution 2025-02 (Electing and Removing Officers). Motion by Mr. Mountford, seconded by Mr. Blumenthal; adopted with all in favor (5-0).
2) Install ‘zombie box’ for aeration system (Lake E1-C). Motion by Mr. Schultz, seconded by Mr. Twombly; approved 3-2 (Mr. Schultz, Mr. Twombly and Mr. Merrill in favor; Mr. Mountford and Mr. Blumenthal opposed). Cost recorded at $3,098.
3) AV-Tech radar and cloud system purchase (My AV-Tech LLC Estimates 24150 and 24151). Motion carried with all in favor (5-0). Combined approved amount: $105,000.
4) Acceptance of unaudited financial statements as of Oct. 31, 2024. Presented for informational purposes; board accepted and noted Series 2022A note will be closed and funds applied to prepay bond debt.
5) Approval of Oct. 22, 2024 Regular Meeting Minutes, as amended. Motion by Mr. Blumenthal, seconded by Mr. Mountford; approved with all in favor (5-0).
6) Irrigation Concepts change order to repair wiring and raise seven to eight irrigation heads (not-to-exceed $15,000). Motion by Mr. Blumenthal, seconded by Mr. Schultz; approved with all in favor (5-0).
7) Terminate Laz's Lawn Service and engage GulfScapes Landscape Maintenance Services (GulfScapes proposal $58,500). Motion by Mr. Blumenthal, seconded by Mr. Schultz; approved with all in favor (5-0). Management authorized to use withheld payments to offset the cost.
8) Adjournment. Motion recorded with all in favor. (Minutes contain a noted discrepancy in adjournment time: 3:07 p.m. and 2:51 p.m. are both recorded.)
