• Ordinances adopted: Council finally adopted Ordinance 26‑17 establishing the performing arts center utility after debate (see separate article). The council also finally adopted Ordinance 26‑18 (reorganization of Department of Recreation and establishment of Department of Recreation and Wellness); Ordinance 26‑19 (reducing the compliance period for township abatement from 10 to 5 days); and Ordinance 26‑20 (optional red‑lid additional refuse cart program). Roll calls on final adoption were recorded for each matter.
• Consent agenda and resolutions: Council approved consent resolutions 2026‑136 through 2026‑144 by roll call. Notable items included authorization to purchase a Pierce Enforcer fire truck (allocated $1.2 million, with a $400,000 state grant credited to the purchase) and designation of AMS Development LLC as redeveloper for a portion of Block 5.02 (Route 130, former Burlington Times property) for townhomes and affordable housing. The council also authorized contract amendments and extensions for labor counsel (Taylor Law Group) and for electrical services vendors.
• Jazz Festival staging: After executive session the council approved Resolution 26‑145 authorizing procurement of staging and related services for the 2026 Willingboro Jazz Festival.
