Communications Manager Michelle Boyer presented the City of Brentwood's 2025 Communications Analytics at the Jan. 29 Communications Committee meeting, reporting an overall uptick in subscribers to the city's communication channels alongside a decline in click-through rates and unsubscribe numbers.
Boyer said the decline in click-through rate likely reflected that residents were finding materials more quickly. Committee members discussed operational follow-ups including updating the postal mailing list and using a survey to determine future communication needs. Members also discussed the physical size of recently installed banners along Manchester and whether sizing adjustments are needed.
During the meeting the committee approved the consent agenda, including the Nov. 18, 2025 meeting minutes. Committee Member Lois Truman moved to approve and Alderman David Plufka seconded; the vote was unanimous.
The committee took no further formal action on the analytics report and directed staff to continue work on the mailing list and survey options. The meeting adjourned at 6:39 p.m.
