Chaffee City Council directed the City Attorney on Nov. 3 to draft an amendment to the municipality’s Performance Bonus Policy so the change can be in effect for this year’s performance review and active by Dec. 1, 2025.
Councilman Mark Perkins presented the proposed amendment and asked the council to adopt the changes in time for this year’s evaluations. Andy Sadler moved that the City Attorney write the ordinance as Perkins had outlined; Steve Milz seconded. "All present in favor," and the motion carried.
The council did not record additional details of the amendment in the minutes; the ordinance text will be prepared by the City Attorney and returned to the council for formal introduction and any subsequent votes. No timetable for review beyond the Dec. 1 target was recorded.
