The Elberta Village Council approved several financial items and project payments at its Aug. 15 meeting.
By motion, the council approved accounts payable expenditures totaling $558,622.93 (motion by Ken Holmes; second by Brett McGregor). The roll call recorded McGregor Aye, Holmes Aye, Fiebing Aye, Votruba Aye and Wilkins Aye; the motion passed.
The council approved a USDA RD 440-11 June draw request in the amount of $91,492.90 to pay Fleis and VandenBrink for billed work. Wilkins presented the invoices and the motion carried by roll call.
The council also approved payroll expenditures totaling $14,232.25 (motion by Ken Holmes; second by Ryan Fiebing). President Jennifer Wilkins announced she was recused from the payroll vote; roll call showed Holmes Aye, Fiebing Aye, McGregor Aye, Votruba Aye and Wilkins Recused. The motion passed.
