Guild moved to grant the variance with the condition that the site be returned to its prior condition if the ATM is removed; the motion, seconded by Moore, passed on a 6-1 roll-call vote. Councilmember McParland cast the lone no vote.
During public comment, Michael Bunce asked about entrance and exit drives and said he was concerned about traffic on M-46. Council members and ZBA members discussed the proposed orientation of the ATM and the driveway placement to ensure adequate room for vehicles to enter and exit safely.
