City Hall told the Hamilton Planning and Zoning Board on March 18 that a shed at 608 S. Johnson is being remodeled into a home but the building permit for the property is out of date and the structure has not been inspected by the Code Inspector.
Board Chair Lori Bowen and members discussed the active permits report. City Hall will draft and send a letter to the property owners requesting an up-to-date building permit and completion of proper inspections; staff will notify the Code Inspector so enforcement or inspection can occur. The minutes record that the board asked City Hall to draft the letter and to notify the inspector, but they do not record a formal enforcement action taken during the meeting.
The minutes also show the board reviewed other active and old-business items (including 105 N. Ardinger and 308 E. School). The board set its next meeting for April 16, 2025, at 5:30 p.m.
