Hamilton considers $50,000 concession stand and $30,000–$40,000 for field lighting

The board also reviewed a cost range of $30,000–$40,000 to install poles and lights at the city field; lights were discussed for use by flag football, a potential adult softball league and additional evening baseball practice. The minutes state the plan is to have Trey’s bid ready for presentation to the City Council at its Dec. 10 meeting.
Guest Lauren Dannar said she would ask the contractor performing the city’s road work whether any leftover asphalt could be reused to build or resurface pickleball and tennis courts. The board did not record a formal vote on these items; members discussed next steps and potential grant applications.
