Leaves and clippings must be bagged with each bag weighing no more than 50 pounds; all materials must be placed curbside by 5:30 a.m. on scheduled pickup days.
Coker said continuing with Republic Services and including yard debris removal would have resulted in higher monthly fees for residents; bringing the debris pickup in-house was presented as a cost-containment measure. The town plans to monitor service continuity and alignment with market rates.
