Elberta council approves Ironman 2025 route with one-lane closures on M-22

President Jennifer Wilkins moved to approve the event; Brett McGregor seconded the motion, which passed unanimously among members present. Council minutes record that the approved route will include one-lane closures on M-22 from River Road to Frankfort Avenue and on Frankfort Avenue to Furnace Street. Council members noted that, if the village declined, the event would be rerouted through another town.
