At its April 22 meeting the Village of Four Seasons Board of Trustees approved a set of administrative and regulatory actions, including the adoption of a golf-cart ordinance and an increase to the Planning & Zoning hearing fee.
Mrs. Glover read Ordinance 26.01 by title for both the first and second readings. The first reading recorded three yes votes and one abstention; the second reading concluded with trustees approving Ordinance 26.01 on a 3–0–1 roll-call basis. Following the ordinance, trustees approved Resolution R26.01 to set a permit fee for golf carts; Mr. Murphy moved the resolution and Mr. Trowbridge seconded — the resolution passed unanimously.
Trustees approved a motion to increase the Planning & Zoning hearing fee from $750 to $1,200 after Mrs. Glover noted the current fee did not cover hearing expenses such as court reporter costs. The motion was made by Mr. Murphy, seconded by Mr. Trowbridge, and passed unanimously.
The board also unanimously approved several administrative items: LOCLG membership, a Cummins generator maintenance proposal, adoption of a GoGov licensing database to replace the village's manual tracking process, and acceptance of Instant Signs' quote for park and pavilion signage. Trustees approved Adventure Turf as the ground cover for Trillium Park earlier in the meeting.
On financial direction, trustees instructed the clerk to keep OakStar Bank CDs at 4.03% for 24 months and to ask Patriots Bank to match a 4.06% offer at First Bank of the Lake for 20 months; if Patriots Bank will not match, one CD will be moved to First Bank of the Lake. Trustees approved that direction unanimously.
