Hillside Towns pours first foundation; VFW site demolition noted in Farmington update

"They're making progress," Mister Weber told the commission, noting the foundation work and encouraging commissioners to view posted updates on the city's Facebook page. Mr. Weber added that the developer is working with city staff on final plans.
A commissioner asked about timing for construction at the VFW site; Mr. Weber said the developer is working with Jeff Bodell on final plans and that spring construction is anticipated for some nearby projects. The commission offered no further questions.
The meeting moved on after the brief updates and the commission later scheduled a public hearing on the draft 2026–2031 Capital Improvement Program.
