Commission approves field use for GHS teams, Gilford Youth Baseball and NH Nighthawks; denies 603 Bandits request

The commission also unanimously approved GHS boys soccer for Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6:00–8:00 p.m., July 7–Aug. 13. Those approvals were recorded as a single motion moved by Rick Nelson and seconded by Dave Smith.
Gilford Youth Baseball was granted use of both Francoeur and Stone Wall Fields for games and practices from April 1, 2026, through Oct. 15, 2026. The NH Nighthawks were approved to use Francoeur Field April 27–May 1 for a baseball camp, the Village Field on June 7 for a doubleheader, and Village Field July 3–5 for a tournament. Those requests were approved together on a motion by Rick Nelson, seconded by Thom Francoeur.
A separate request from the 603 Bandits to use Francoeur Field on April 12, May 3, May 17 and June 7 for doubleheader games was unanimously denied because of scheduling conflicts; the denial was recorded on a motion by Rick Nelson, seconded by Dave Smith.
